Garland Ruby Identity

Indigo6 designed an identity for musician Andy Church’s music publishing company, Garland Ruby Music. Andy has been making music since 1960, and the name “Garland Ruby” is taken from his grandfather’s name, Ruby Garland.

We wanted the mark to create a sense of history and place, as well as be expressive and personal. The type treatment is based on Julian Waters’ classical calligraphic roman capitals, and the identity includes the full logo in addition to a compacted version for use on the spine of Andy’s CD packaging or other small spaces.

Tecktonik is all the rage with the club kids in Paris. It’s a style of street dance based on a blend of techno and Hip-hop styles. It also represents a dramatic departure from everything that has come before. That’s what Tecktonik Media is all about, shaking up the establishment.

Husband and wife team, Tonya and Adam Ofer (MD) looked to develop a nutritional supplement to alleviate the bothersome symptoms of menopause. They investigated traditional Eastern remedies and applied the rigorous approach of Western medicine to verify safety and effectiveness.

Indigo6 named the new company by fusing East and West and cleverly incorporating the founders initials. We also developed an extensive identity system that spanned print, web, display, packaging and point of sale.

Just when you thought you might have seen the last of Bauhaus… Indigo6 thought we’d employ this modern typeface inspired by Herbert Bayer of the Bauhaus School in Dessau, Germany. With so many rounded lowercase letter-forms, how could we resist?

b2XY Identity System

b2XY is a human resources consultancy focused on the forthcoming issues that businesses will face as 80MM Baby Boomers retire and are replaced by 60MM Generation X and Y employees… get the name? The effect of this transition is also reinforced by the Indigo6 authored tag-line, Ingredients Change Results. The logo and tag-line hint that b2XY has a secret formula for addressing these impending issues. Our goal was to create a name that piqued curiosity and invited inquiry.

Converge Direct was born of opportunity. To help this fledgling company, Indigo6 developed a logo, website and business collateral within two weeks. Obviously, compromises had to be made but the effort paid off. The company was awarded a major contract and continues to flourish.

Isaacs & Associates is a Manhattan-based law firm that is rooted in traditional ethics, yet provides a modern approach to law. Indigo6 has designed an identity that visually articulates both values. The typeface, Copperplate Gothic (designed by Frederic W. Goudy) combined with a vibrant unexpected use of color creates the perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

Indigo6 has has designed a progressive identity system and collateral for manhattan-based law firm Isaacs & Associates. That’s Pantone 1665U and 431U printed on tried & true Strathmore in case you were wondering.
