Guest Lecturer
This morning, Indigo6 took its message to the people with a guest lecture at NYU (a course about integrated marketing). Here Ryan, talks about integrated marketing in a Web 2.0 world. The message to marketers: Stop disruptive tactics and start adding value.

We’re marketing!
For the first time in Indigo6 history, we’re actually marketing ourselves. Well, kinda. As we write this, our super-spam-machine is cranking out emails to our family, closest friends, and any email address we may have come across in the past few years. If for some reason you didn’t get our email, you can see it here. The bounce backs are piling up, I guess you all are changing jobs like underwear.

Yes, we have redesigned our website. Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to fly with the Indigo6 flight attendants.
This new site has been designed for (and constructed using) WordPress. Why Wordpress? Simply put… it’s simple, yet powerful.
We made the decision to backfill all posts so that the site would be a complete archive of everything we’ve done since 2004. Additionally, since WordPress was built for blogging, we’ll be sharing our thoughts and opinions from time-to-time. Feel free to chime in… we love a spirited debate. Enjoy!

Indigo6 launches Version 2.0 of our website. The site takes our airline concept to a new altitude. Huge thank you to Linda Nicholas (our amazing stylist), Claire Byrne, Kelly Grant, and Melissa King (our lovely flight attendants), and Jodi Kipperman and Tony Pichette from Kipperman Casting.

Homeland security?
As you can see, we were on both sides of the camera. While we were shooting, a police cruiser rolled up and asked us what we were doing. We explained that we were Al Quaida operatives, working under direct orders from Vice President Cheney. He nodded and offered his assistance if we needed anything.

Today we went to a private hangar at the Lehigh Valley International Airport (Lehigh, PA) to gather some footage for the new Indigo6 website.

Indigo6 moved to new studio space at 12 South Main Street in SoNo (South Norwalk). The studio is quite spacious! Looks like we’re going to have to make a few trips to Ikea.

Pennsylvania
We ventured down to Pennsylvania to meet with Lebanon Seaboard… and took some “roads less travelled.” In our travels, we found Jesus, the Blair Witch, and scrapple. You’d never guess that we only were a mere two hours from the West Village.

Vegas whiteboard
We’re currently working on a rebranding and website for LA-based internet record label Beta Records. Since they are over there, and we’re over here… they suggested we meet in the middle… or close to the middle… Las Vegas. Here’s a pic from our kickoff meeting in their suite at the Bellagio. Dry erase markers on the window… how’s that for rock’ roll decadence.

Indigo6 has launched a new Flash video website. Scripted, shot and edited in the Indigo6 studio, the site pushes the limits of Flash technology with embedded videos that are turned on and off based on site logic and across site sections. We even included a few easter eggs for fun.
